CELESTITE Natural Specimen from Madagascar 2.2 oz. power crystals #168 abalone paua shell Amethyst Quartz - LOT BCELESTITE (or CELESTINE) Great specimen from Madagascar Celestite (or Celestine) is my personal favorite of all stones and I treasure my personal collection of these beautiful light blue crystals. In my more selfish moments I would keep them all, but most of the time I want to share them with everyone. Celestite is a mineral form of Strontium Sulfate. It was named for its delicate blue color. The mineral is fairly soft (Mohs hardness 3 3. 5) so it is
